9-pin and 4-pin male connectors enable you to connect a 4-pin FireWire 400 (1394a) device to a 9-pin FireWire 800 (1394b) port on a computer. The FW94 meets all FireWire 800 and 1394b specifications, it is compatible by a test with systems and devices.
Offers compatibility with PC, Mac, SUN, Apple FireWire, Sony iLink, and all other IEEE-1394b peripherals. Provides data transfer rates up to 800 Mbps. Connects speed-critical audio/visual peripherals and multimedia devices to your computer.
It is designed to deliver data perfectly between your IEEE-1394a and IEEE-1394b devices, with triple shielded twisted-pair construction protected by a sturdy clear outer jacket. Molded-strain relief and PVC over-molding.
