This rugged cable features two layers of EMI and RF shielding courtesy of a full copper braid over top a mylar foil wrapped 28 gauge Oxygen Free Copper core. Krystal HDMI cables are terminated with male HDMI connectors on both ends of the cable. THX Certification in cabling is a marketing tool used solely by Monster Cable. Upon contacting Lucas Arts and the people at THX, only Monster Cable is capable of being a licensed THX Certified Cable. Which if this were a real standard, all cables, from every manufacture would be able to meet said criteria.
Upon further review, there is no real THX Standard available, only that a cable "meets" or "exceeds" this THX rating.
