The USB-C mini docking station features an HDMI output that supports video resolutions up to 4K 30Hz, providing a high-resolution screen to maximize your productivity when multi-tasking using an HDMI desktop monitor (3440x1440 ultra-wide monitors/displays supported). You can also connect to an HDMI projector or TV in a boardroom or other meeting space, to deliver presentations on a shared screen.
Other output ports included on the adapter are a USB-A port (USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps & BC 1.2 charging) for connecting and charging devices, and a USB-C (5Gbps Data + 100W Power Delivery 3.0) for charging your laptop or connecting to a downstream USB-C peripheral device. When connected to a power adapter up to 92W of power are available for charging, while 8W of power are reserved for the USB-C multiport adapter, this power reserve avoids video flickering and device dropouts, caused by overdrawing power, common in other hubs, ensuring this adapter provides high-performance operation, while reliably charging your devices. When a power adapter isn't connected, this adapter operates using USB bus power, and the USB-C port where you connect your power adapter turns into a downstream 5Gbps USB Type-C port for connecting USB-C peripheral devices.
